WordPress for Beginners – Module 1

Module #1: The best place to start

Who Is This For?

Anyone who wants their own website – completely within their control.

Anyone who wants to be able to publish on the internet or  increase public awareness of themselves or their interests, organisation or business.

Anyone who is a beginner to WordPress and doesn’t know how to use a WordPress website. You now want hands-on training, to help you get started.

Please note: Like all our WordPress training courses, this is a hands-on workshop.  It has been designed so you will leave at the end of the training, with enabling WordPress skills you did not have before. You are strongly encouraged to bring your own wi-fi enabled laptop computer.  If you can’t do this, we can provide a laptop for the workshop at additional cost (see our extras).  Please let us know in advance.

Our Requirements For Acceptance:

You must have good basic computer skills, eg. you can connect to the internet, check and send email, go to a specific website address, browse website pages etc, all with ease.

Plus, ONE of the following..

  1. You already have a working WordPress website, but don’t know how to use it properly, OR…
  2. You already have a domain name and hosting which supports WordPress and you have activated it. OR…
  3. Before the workshop, we have helped you get a suitable domain and web hosting package, with WordPress activated, (see our “help package extra“) OR…
